Helping you increase sales in a competitive market

Dear Mitchell,

In our continuing efforts to help you know our team better, I am responsible for this month's Customer Manufacturing Update. My name is Jeff Krawitz and I manage our mid-Altantic office. (For those of you in the UK who are reading this, no I don't mean in the middle of the "Pond," I mean in those states in the U.S. which are in the middle of the East Coast.)

I spent 23 years in sales, marketing, and marketing/ sales management before joining CMG. My primary responsiblity with CMG is to manage our training practice (we focus on customized sales, marketing, and customer service programs). I also run the MarketSharp tool, and work on sales process management projects with the other partners in the Group.

Introducing Quantum Marketing

Quantum physics, the cornerstone to much of modern science, breaks complex actions and reactions into basic, elemental "quanta" or packets. Its simplicity makes it possible to understand very complex, higher- order events that might otherwise be undecipherable.

So what does quantum physics have to do with marketing? Like most aspects of business, marketing has become increasingly complex over the years. With the advent of CRM software, campaign management tools, data mining, and other technology-based tools, marketing an uncomplicated product like toothpaste is far more complex than a few retail coupons and some cable TV spots. We need a tool to break down the complexity into small, manageable components.

This month's white paper, "Quantum Marketing", follows the physics example by disclosing the fundamental aspects of marketing: Who, What, and How. Each of these words has a specific meaning in a marketing sense, plus each has three different perspectives to view them from. Intrigued? Read on and learn!

As always we appreciate your feedback. If you are interested in specific topics, please let us know.

Feel free to contact me if you believe I can be of help.

Sincerely,

Jeff Krawitz
