Richard Hubbard, Ph.D., CMC, PMP

Dr. Rick Hubbard, CMC, PMP is a technology industry executive with three decades experience — including 15 years in Silicon Valley. Rick is an early pioneer in the emerging discipline of Project Strategy. As a Project Strategist, Dr. Hubbard assists clients create, develop, and implement successful projects from the Critical First 1% through completion and operations

Dr. Hubbard is the author of POP—Plan On a Page: Successful, Practical Planning Made Simple & Easy. In addition to applying POP on hundreds of projects, Rick has used POP for the benefit of employers (e.g., one of the largest telecommunications carriers; a large enterprise application platform firm; a leader in the Enterprise Search industry; a pioneer of Digital Analytics); clients; start-ups; and many, many more.

An alumni of KPMG, he's been a Professional Services executive with such firms as: BEA Systems; FAST Search; Serena Software; and Webtrends. Rick is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) Member of the IMC (Institute of Management Consultants) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) member of the PMI (Project Management Institute). He is also a professional member of: SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization); WAA (Web Analytics Association); and the Systems Dynamics Society. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE.

He has a B.S. in Computer Science from the California State University, and a Ph.D.in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Creighton University.
